About April

April Kim Tonin’s illustrations have appeared in The Lily (The Washington Post), Time Out New York and The Union of Concerned Scientists. Her work is in the collections of the Museum of the City of New York, as well as private and corporate clients. A veteran museum educator, Tonin is the head of education at the Frick Collection. She has also held posts at the Museum of Arts and Design, the Nightingale-Bamford School and at The Museum of Modern Art. Tonin has an M.A. in art history from Columbia University and a B.A. in Fine Arts and French from Mount Holyoke College.
