April Kim Tonin’s illustrations are featured in The Frick Collection’s inaugural Art Cards designed by Tin Moon LLC. She illustrated Mark Bittman’s first cookbook for kids, How to Cook Everything Kids, published by HarperCollins. Tonin’s illustrations have also appeared in The Lily (The Washington Post), Time Out New York and The Union of Concerned Scientists. Her work is in the collections of the Museum of the City of New York, as well as private and corporate clients. A veteran museum educator, Tonin is the Ayesha Bulchandani Head of Education and Public Engagement at the Frick Collection. She has also held posts at the Museum of Arts and Design, the Nightingale-Bamford School and at The Museum of Modern Art. Tonin has an M.A. in art history from Columbia University and a B.A. in Fine Arts and French from Mount Holyoke College.
